With its floral aromas and hints of apricot & ginger the Viognier, from the Rhone Valley in France, is a delicious food friendly alternative to some more established varities, and is a welcome addition to the Lark Hill stable.
Mid-season picking and a cool ferment have captured the fresh fruit flavours of the Viognier and a parcel of the wine was wild yeast fermented in older French oak to add complexity and depth.
