Canberra Region Chardonnay 2018

Using fruit from around the Canberra Region, this chardonnay was made in a similar style to the Lark Hill Vineyard Chardonnay; cloudy juice was pressed to french oak barrels for indigenous yeast fermentation, and kept on lees for 12 months maturation. 3-5 year old barrels provide spice, texture and richness without dominating the wine. The result is a bright, fruit-driven style with hints of grapefruit, melon and spice - the palate is light and vibrant and a perfect casual introduction to what makes Chardonnay a versatile and delicious drink.
